Buying Oranges
Usually I buy oranges in a different shop.
But this shop is called Fasal and the owner is from Pakistan,
I think
I am buying oranges here today as I was attracted to the words ‘Super Dulce’ handwritten on small cardboard sign, whose corner is bending slightly, like una avispa to a sticky sugar bun.
I don’t think (that) I have ever bought a sticky sugar bun before, nor
anything from this shop, Fasal, before
however
all that is going to change now (apart from the part about the sticky sugar bun) as I will buy a kilo or so of oranges.
Come to think of it, not only will I buy a kilo or so of oranges but I should probably buy some onions too in order to make some salad, although I am unable to make my mind up to buy the red variety, the sweet variety or the spring variety.
A variety of varieties.
Interestingly,
it is generally accepted that oranges are a valuable source of vitamin c.
So I guess
if I eat them during the winter, which is now, it should benefit el sistema inmunitario
On the other hand/whereas
If I had eaten them during the autumn, el sistema inmunitario would have been ‘up to scratch’ already
Cure is worse than prevention
Perhaps if I ate some broccoli and lemons and spinach too…
I wish I had thought about all of this antes
but
You can’t change that which you didn’t use to do, can you?
