The Lion

In my dream a lion visited me
I think he came from the moon.
He whispered into my ear
his voice as fine as notes
played on my Spanish guitar.
He told me my life was make believe
all life was a dream
and most people were sleeping.
All I had to do was open my eyes
to see the desert
was really an everlasting flower.
